1. General

• Each registered participant can only submit one abstract to the 2025 IUTOX-IIX as the presenting author and must be designated as the first author. There are no limitations on the number of co-authors.
• The prerequisite for submitting an abstract is that it represents original work, not previously published and not being considered for publication elsewhere.
• The Scientific Committee for 2025 IUTOX-IIX reserves the right to accept or reject abstracts, to decide whether to present them orally or as posters, and to select the appropriate session for their presentation.
• Abstracts may not be changed or withdrawn once accepted by the Scientific Committee for 2025 IUTOX-IIX. If circumstances prevent attendance, the author must arrange for the presentation to be made by a substitute.
• In case your abstract was not accepted, you have the right to cancel your registration to the congress free of charge. All payments will be reimbursed in full.
• Abstracts will be automatically rejected if the registration payments for presenting authors are not confirmed by the deadline (23:59, March 31, 2025 on Beijing Time Zone UTC+8).

2. Content and Format

• The abstract should be prepared in English using the template ICT 2025 Abstract English Template, referring to the example ICT 2025 Abstract English Template.
• The abstract should include: Title, Author, Affiliation, Text and 3-5 Keywords.
• The Text should comprise the following sections: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion, with a total word count not exceeding 300 words.

3. Submission

• Please upload your abstract in a Microsoft Word format.
• If the names of co-authors are not filled in the submission system, they will not be shown in the final abstract.
• Upon successful submission, you will receive a confirmation email. Please keep the email for future reference. If you do not receive the email, please contact the secretariat via email (ict2025abs@chntox.org).
• The abstract can be modified or deleted online before the submission deadline.
• Together with your abstract submission, you may apply for a travel bursary or for one of the awards which are granted by IUTOX (more information will be available under the menu item ‘Awards & Bursaries’).
